14 vie for 'Lin-ay kang Antique 2016' search
Fourteen beautiful and lovely candidates will vie for the Lin-ay Kang Antique 2016 crown.
SAN JOSE De BUENAVISTA, Antique - Fourteen towns are participating in the Search for 'Lin-ay Kang Antique 2016' in this year’s Binirayan Festival.
The 14 candidates are Iris Joy Erispe of Anini-y, 18 years old, an International Travel and Tourism Management student at the Lyceum University of the Philippines; Joana Marie Acuna of Belison, 21 years old and a graduate of the Central Philippine University (CPU); Kathleen Kates De Torro of Bugasong; Erika Ianne Yap of Culasi, 19 years old and Bachelor of Science (BS) Tourism student of CPU in Iloilo City.
Stephanie Jane Abiera of Hamtic is a graduate of BS Graphics Technology major in Architecture from the Technological University of the Philippines; Ma. Alona Prado of Libertad, 22 years old and BS in Civil Engineering student of the University of Antique Sibalom campus; Mariane Peralta of Pandan; Tarilaye John Beke of Patnongon; Ana Andrea Liboon of San Jose, 21 years old and BS in Biology student of the West Visayas State University (WVSU).
Zendie Abraham of Sebaste is 18 years old, AB Mass Communications student of the University of Antique Sibalom Campus; Pearl Joy Bardellos of AYM Sibalom, 23 years old and student of the University of the Philippines in the Visayas taking up AB History; Eillen Ogatis of Tibiao; Ycebella Bugay of Tobias Fornier, BS Medical Technology student of the University of the Philippines, Baguio City; and from Valderrama is Ailene Marie Pon-an, 20 years old and fourth year BS Education major in English student of the University of Antique Sibalom Campus.
“We have quite a good number of candidates and we are expecting to have an exciting pageant on December 30, 2016,” said Governor Rhodora J. Cadiao, December 13.
The governor added that based on the initial presentation of the candidates and during their pictorials taken in different venues, all the candidates have what it takes to be Lin-ay Kang Antique 2016.
The LGUs of Barbaza, Caluya, San Remigio and Laua-an failed to send their candidates to the biggest beauty and brains contest in the province. [via PNA]
