Department of Health Regional Office 4A in Calabarzon is now hiring a total of 657 public health associates (PHA) for contract of service from November 2016 to February 2017.
DOH-4A detailed in the notice of vacancy posted online that of the total number, 137 will be deployed in Cavite, 91 in Laguna, 203 in Batangas, 28 in Rizal and 198 in Quezon Province.

Qualifications
- Graduate of any 4-year Allied Health degree course
- With experience in public health is an advantage
- Physically and mentally fit
- Health advocate (preference shall be given to non-smokers, volunteer blood donors and health advocate)
- With excellent communication skills; proficient in oral and written communication
- With excellent computer skills, proficient in MS Office application (Word/Excel/Powerpoint); minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute with at least 90% accuracy.
- Preferably a resident of above municipality
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the MHO in the installation and effective monitoring and evaluation system for Universal Health Care programs
- Assist in collection, validation, analysis and evaluation of the UHC program indicators
- Participate in the analysis of the health related date/information
- Assist in the updating/encoding of data information in the established DOH information systems
- Submits health report/data information to the DOH Regional Office and Central Office
- Coordinate with the different stakeholders for the submission of Nation Health Data Reports
- Enhance and sustain logistics management system
- Assist in AKAP Mo activities
- Assist in community health organizing activities
- Submit AKAP MO reports
- Attend and performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisors
