PRC releases Board Exam Schedule for 2017

Schedule of Board Exams for teachers, nurses, midwives, engineers, criminologists and all other regulated professionals are now out.

MANILA - Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has now published the complete schedule of licensure examinations for year 2017. Check below if you are planning to take the board exams next year.

PRC issued Resolution No. 2016-1019 series of 2016 which details the schedule of board examinations, opening of online processing, deadlines for filing of applications, practical examinations, target date of exam results, and Special Professional Licensure Board Examinations (SPLBE).

This is in pursuant to Republic Act 8981 which authorizes the Commission in determining and fixing the dates and venues for the board exams.

Here's some of the schedule of board exams with most test takers:

Professional Teachers (LET 2017)
March 26, 2017 - Deadline on January 20 - Target Date of Results on May 19
September 24, 2017 - Deadline on July 14 - Target Date of Results on November 27

Medical Technologists
February 26-27, 2017 - Deadline on January 27 - Target Date of Results on March 2
August 26-27, 2017 - Deadline on July 26 - Target Date of Results on August 31

Physicians
March 5,6,12,13, 2017 - Deadline on February 8 - Target Date of Results on March 16
September 9,10,16,17, 2017 - Deadline on August 15 - Target Date of Results on September 21

Midwives
March 29-30, 2017 - Deadline on February 28 - Target Date of Results on April 4
November 4-5, 2017 - Deadline on October 6 - Target Date of Results on November 8




Agriculturists
April 25,26,27, 2017 - Deadline on March 13 - Target Date of Results on May 5
November 28,29,30, 2017 - Deadline on October 27 - Target Date of Results on December 7

Certified Public Accountants (CPA 2017)
May 14,15,21,22, 2017 - Deadline on April 17 - Target Date of Results on May 29

Nurses (NLE 2017)
June 4-5, 2017 - Deadline on May 3 - Target Date of NLE Results on June 23

The schedule of SPLBE which is usually held in Hongkong and Middle East for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) shall be in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 2011-627, RA 8981 and EO No. 835.

Filing of applications for board exam must be done within the period indicated. If the deadline falls on legal or regular holidays and non-working holidays, the deadline shall be on the immediately succeeding working day.
