NEAP postpones 2016 Principal's Test

DEPED-NEAP's Principals Test 2016 has been moved once again to another schedule next year.

MANILA - The technical working group of National Educators Academy of the Philippines announced online that the 2016 National Qualifying Examination for School Heads (NQESH) or commonly known as Principal's Test had been postponed.

NEAP and Bureau of Human Resource Organizational Development posted in their official Facebook page that the schedule for Principal's Test is postponed to April 9, 2017.

NQESH 2016 was initially scheduled on November 16 but NEAP moved it to December 18. Then "due to administrative constraint in the procurement of test materials," it was moved once again to the new schedule. Here's the full text of the announcement:

To All Principals' Test Takers,

We are all geared to meet you in the much anticipated national examination set on December 18, 2016. We understand that you have prepared well and excited to answer the challenging competency-based items. :)

However, due to major administrative constraints in the procurement of test materials, we sincerely regret to inform you that the 2016 Principals Test will be postponed to April 9, 2017. 😞 This is the date agreed considering the work load of our school personnel.

In the meantime, take this time to continue to immerse yourselves in school management and operations and excel in your current responsibilities.

We also hope that those who participated in the NEAP School Heads Development Program: Foundation Course will share their experiences and apply their learning in their respective schools.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this postponement.

Based on DepEd Memorandum No. 80, s. 2016 dated May 17, 2016, the following are eligible to take the test:

a. One Year as Head Teacher or;
b. Two Years as Teacher-in-Charge or Master Teacher; or
c. Three Years as Teacher III or SPED Teacher; or
d. Five years as incumbent public school teacher who has five years of managerial or supervisory experience in a DepEd recognized private institution and Commission on Higher Education (CHED) recognized higher education institution.
